TCS NQT Simulation

Ninja / Digital · Fresher

The TCS National Qualifier Test is the single largest fresher hiring process in India. This simulation runs its shape end to end — a timed, proctored aptitude paper, a coding round on a clock, then the technical and HR interviews, each one gated behind the last, exactly as the real process gates them.

4 rounds you can sit 81 questions 132 minutes total Round 1 free

The process, in order

4 rounds you can sit here, each gated behind the last, the way the real process gates them.

Foundation — Aptitude

Numerical · Verbal · Reasoning
FREE

A timed, proctored paper across all four sections, drawn fresh per candidate so a retake is never the same paper. TCS splits its own Foundation section into Numerical, Verbal and Reasoning; we add an Analytical section, which the Advanced paper draws on.

SectionQuestions Time
Quantitative (Numerical Ability)16 19 min
Logical (Reasoning Ability)16 19 min
Verbal Ability16 19 min
Analytical Reasoning16 18 min

Advanced — Coding

3 problems on the clock

Three problems of increasing difficulty, each on its own timer, run against real test cases in a sandbox. TCS gives two longer problems in its Advanced section; we run three shorter ones so a weak area shows up as a pattern rather than a single unlucky question.

Problem 2 — medium1 7 min
Problem 3 — hard1 10 min

Technical Interview

Spoken · from your resume

A spoken round built from your own resume — your projects, your stack, your choices — with follow-ups based on what you actually say. Core CS fundamentals come up the way TCS asks them: OOP, DBMS, OS basics and simple data structures, tied back to what you built.

HR Interview

Spoken · fit and motivation

The final conversation. Classic HR questions mixed with situational STAR ones — strengths and weaknesses, why this role, handling pressure, willingness to relocate — scored on clarity, self-awareness and whether you gave a concrete example rather than a rehearsed one.
