Zoho sets no minimum CGPA and does not bar candidates with backlogs, which makes it one of the few genuinely open doors for students filtered out elsewhere on marks. What replaces the filter is programming: three rounds of it, ending in building a working system from scratch.
4 rounds you can sit here, each gated behind the last, the way the real process gates them.
The 1 stage marked not simulated is part of Zoho's real process, but not something a practice platform can honestly reproduce. It is described here so nothing on the day surprises you.
Zoho's aptitude is arithmetic and puzzles rather than vocabulary, and the real paper is written by hand without options — you produce the answer instead of recognising it. This is the multiple-choice version of the same ground; work each one out before looking at the options. The real paper also carries a C output-prediction section.
| Section | Questions | Time |
|---|---|---|
| Quantitative | 6 | 7 min |
| Logical Reasoning | 6 | 7 min |
| Verbal Ability | 6 | 7 min |
| Analytical Reasoning | 6 | 7 min |
Zoho's first programming round is several short programs written out in full rather than MCQs. Three problems of increasing difficulty, each on its own timer, run against real test cases in a sandbox.
| Section | Questions | Time |
|---|---|---|
| Problem 1 — easy | 1 | 5 min |
| Problem 2 — medium | 1 | 7 min |
| Problem 3 — hard | 1 | 10 min |
Shortlisted candidates get one problem and around three hours to build a complete working program in C, C++ or Java — a parser, a scheduler, a small game. It is not a question with a test case, it is a system, and the technical interview afterwards is largely about the code you wrote here. Nothing we can set in 22 minutes reproduces that, so we do not pretend to. Practise by building something end to end and being able to defend every decision.
| Section | Questions | Time |
|---|---|---|
| One system, from scratch | 1 | 180 min |
A spoken round built from your own resume — your projects, your stack, your decisions — with follow-ups based on what you actually say. Zoho leans on fundamentals over puzzles: OOP, DBMS, OS basics and simple data structures, tied back to what you built.
| Section | Questions | Time |
|---|---|---|
| Project deep-dive | 4 | 10 min |
| CS fundamentals | 4 | 10 min |
The final conversation. Classic HR questions mixed with situational STAR ones — strengths and weaknesses, why Zoho, handling pressure, willingness to relocate — scored on clarity, self-awareness and whether you gave a concrete example rather than a rehearsed one.
| Section | Questions | Time |

| Classic HR | 3 | 8 min |
| Situational / STAR | 3 | 7 min |
The first round is free and takes 28 minutes. You will know your score and your weakest section by the end of it.

The topics our question bank draws on for each section of this paper, most-used first. Every attempt serves a different set, so the topics repeat and the questions do not.
number systems, averages, mensuration, ratio and proportion, simple interest, problems on ages, percentages, profit and loss.
number series, ranking, seating arrangement, coding-decoding, clocks, calendars, direction sense, blood relations.
synonyms, antonyms, sentence complete, vocabulary, grammar, sentence correct, spelling, comprehension.
6 questions from the bank this simulation draws on, across the sections Zoho actually tests, each with the worked solution — the method, not just the right letter.
4 rounds — Aptitude Paper, Coding Round, Technical Interview and HR Interview. 41 questions, about 85 minutes in total.
Round 1 (Aptitude Paper) is free — no card, no credits. The remaining 3 rounds unlock for Rs 99, down from Rs 199, once, with two attempts at every round.
Round 1 takes 28 minutes over 24 questions; all 4 rounds come to about 85 minutes. Rounds unlock one at a time, so you need not sit them together.
60%. Below that the simulation ends there, as the real process would. You keep the report for the round you sat.
Aptitude Paper, 4 separately timed sections. Quantitative — 6 questions in 7 min; Logical Reasoning — 6 questions in 7 min; Verbal Ability — 6 questions in 7 min; Analytical Reasoning — 6 questions in 7 min.
For Technical Interview and HR Interview, yes — the questions are generated from your own resume, so the projects you list are the projects you are asked about.
Each one runs that company's own hiring pattern, and Round 1 is free on all of them.
