Wipro's Elite National Talent Hunt puts a written English test between the aptitude paper and the programming section — an essay, typed, marked on structure and grammar. Candidates who prepare only for aptitude and coding are regularly caught by it.
4 rounds you can sit here, each gated behind the last, the way the real process gates them.
The 1 stage marked not simulated is part of Wipro's real process, but not something a practice platform can honestly reproduce. It is described here so nothing on the day surprises you.
Wipro's aptitude section is conventional and the cutoff is where most of the batch is lost. Timed and proctored, drawn fresh per candidate.
| Section | Questions | Time |
|---|---|---|
| Quantitative | 12 | 13 min |
| Logical Reasoning | 12 | 13 min |
| Verbal Ability | 12 | 13 min |
| Analytical Reasoning | 12 | 13 min |
A short typed essay, usually on a general topic, marked on structure, grammar, vocabulary and how well you keep to the point. We do not simulate it: our rounds score spoken answers and code, and grading written English well is a different problem we have not solved. Practise by writing 200 words on a current topic in 20 minutes, then reading it back for grammar.
| Section | Questions | Time |
|---|---|---|
| Written English Communication Test | 1 | 20 min |
Wipro's programming section follows the written test. Three problems of increasing difficulty, each on its own timer, run against real test cases in a sandbox.
| Section | Questions | Time |
|---|---|---|
| Problem 1 — easy | 1 | 5 min |
| Problem 2 — medium | 1 | 7 min |
| Problem 3 — hard | 1 | 10 min |
A spoken round built from your own resume — your projects, your stack, your decisions — with follow-ups based on what you actually say. Wipro leans on fundamentals over puzzles: OOP, DBMS, OS basics and simple data structures, tied back to what you built.
| Section | Questions | Time |
|---|---|---|
| Project deep-dive | 4 | 10 min |
| CS fundamentals | 4 | 10 min |
The final conversation. Classic HR questions mixed with situational STAR ones — strengths and weaknesses, why Wipro, handling pressure, willingness to relocate — scored on clarity, self-awareness and whether you gave a concrete example rather than a rehearsed one.
| Section | Questions | Time |
|---|---|---|
| Classic HR | 3 | 8 min |
| Situational / STAR | 3 | 7 min |
The first round is free and takes 52 minutes. You will know your score and your weakest section by the end of it.
